360 GoPro Rigs here and available to rent

We’ve just started to carry 3 different 360 Gopro rigs for our productions. Every rig has its own place and usage. There are also available for rental. Please contact us your turn key 360 VR production.

Izugar 2X: Weight only 180g, the Z2XC can fit into many challenging scenario that are difficult to have good stitching result with other 360 systems. The output video resolution able to reach 4K, while output photo size at 5K.

There are numerous benefits of using two lenses to capture the full spherical video:

Synchronization on multiple video camera has been a long nightmare for 360 video makers. Although software can help finding the most approximation of the sync points among the cameras, the random behaviour of the camera shutter made video stitching a very tough work. With the revolutionary super fisheye lens at 194 deg fov, we can take the full spherical environment with just two camera yet keeping the output at the highest resolution available, and we can use the official Gopro Dual Hero module to synchronize two hero3+ camera. No more hassle to locate the best sync points as the video sources were perfectly synced.

Parallax is another physical limitation of taking 360 video. With conventional 6 unmodified Gopro camera, objects have to be kept at 2 meters away from the camera or it shall be challenging to keep the output image from breaking. With our super fisheye lens with 194 deg fov, objects beyond as short as 0.4m can be stitched perfectly, enabling seamless 360 video in a narrow corridor for indoor real estate shooting, which is in high demand but impossible to do with traditional multi-camera devices.

Tiny size & light weight can be another huge benefit. It can be installed on smaller drone for higher portability with longer flight time, the tiny size make it easily blended into the scene without making much disturbance to the scene, especially useful for capturing live events.

Izugar 3X: Being 50% lighter than 6-cam setup, the minimized parallax issue shall help making better panoramic video with shorter working radius. The output resolution from three 1440p video is about 2800×1400@30fps, able to reach 4K@30fps with 2.7k mode, and photo size at 5800×2900 pixel.

The Z3X was designed for addressing the daily problems of professional 360 video producers who may need to take 360 video in compact space. Usually they have to set the video system on a very long pole in order to get the seamless stitching result, however sometimes it’s just not possible due to physical limitation of the space or it’s unable to balance while shooting, such as filming 360 on a surf board.

By having excessive overlapping between cameras, we have more forgiving margin to work with and we can have much shorter working radius, shrinking from traditionally 2m down to 0.5m with the Z3X. With Z3X, 360 producers can now take indoor seamless full spherical 360 video without broken images everywhere. Without using a long pole, we can make the 360 video at a much normal first person perspective, which shall make the 360 more immersive as viewer shall no longer peeking a virtual scene from a remote spot, as they can BE at the center of the scene.

Izugar 4X: Being 33% lighter than 6-cam setup, the excessive overlapping between lenses shall be very generous & forgiving with the parallax issues. With the special design, seamless 360 video can be taken at just 0.5m away. The output resolution from four 1440p video is about 2800×1400@30fps, able to reach 4K@30fps with 2.7k mode, and photo mode & 4K video at 6000×3000 pixel, at 6K level. Stitching could be done with a simple click preset stitch in Kolor AVP or with our PTGui template in VideoStitch.

HDR is now possible with Z4XC rig. With every pixel shooting for twice, two set of video with exposure difference can be aligned and combined for HDR output with some special technique.
