PROJECT
8 episodes / 28 minutes TV documentary + an interactive web documentary.

STORY

Each episode follows an immigrant worker who is working under extremely dangerous or bizarre conditions. We will tell the dreams shattered by struggle to make a living; hear the workers voice and explore how much risk they can take to have a decent living in a country where they have just landed. The limits of courage, sometimes far points of desperation and pride for those who overcome all difficulties for their families fearlessly will be featured.

Content of some episodes: Female workers who collect worms on the fields in Ontario for cosmetic firms; workers at the mines/oil fields; ice truck drivers in Northern Territories; fishermen working in Northern or Atlantic Region.
